Prom

The head boy and girl are responsible for organising the school prom.

If the school decide that a school prom will take place during a school session, the School Captains are responsible for organising the school prom. This is done in conjunction with a small team of school staff. The School Captains duties involve (not exhaustive): 

• Visiting the venue and liaising with the events team 
• Communicating with pupils, parents and staff 
• Collecting payments 
• Organizing table plans 
• Organising decorations and entertainment 
• Other tasks as allocated by school staff

The prom takes place during the months of April-June (although can be subject to change depending on school calendar requirements) ad is a great celebration to end 6 years at Calderside Academy.
