Industrial Action – Local Government Trade Unions

On Friday 3 November 2023, an agreement was reached which has enabled the planned strike action by members of Unison on Wednesday, 8 November 2023 to be called off.  Local Authorities were informed late in the afternoon of this development.

All local authority nursery classes, primary schools, ASN establishments and bases, secondary schools and early years establishments will therefore be open as normal on Wednesday 8 November.

We appreciate that this has been an inconvenient time for families and thank you for your continued support.
